Attractor Traps Tutorial for UltraFractal - Page 3
The Attractors
Attractor Traps uses strange attractors as the trap functions. This coloring formula uses both 2D and 3D strange attractors. Examples of the use of several of these attractors will be demonstrated on this page. They vary widely in the types of shapes produced. The first image uses the Chip attractor for the main image and Liar for the background. Liar is particularly good for creating patterns and textures. The second image uses the CosMartin and Sierpinski attractors. The Sierpinski attractor is another good option for patterns and textures. The third image uses one of the SprottQuad attractors and the Latoocarfian attractor. The last image uses one of the Sprott3D attractor for all layers. Please note that multiple coloring modes are used. The user should study each of the examples carefully to determine how they were created.
